1711 Milvia Unit A, Berkeley CA 94709 | $575,000

Victorian Farmhouse with high ceilings, great light, and private location set back from the street. This charming one-bedroom, one-bath North Berkeley home offers a surprising sense of privacy and tranquility in the middle of one of Berkeley’s most walkable/bikeable neighborhoods. This home is a cosmetic fixer with character! Most of the hard work has been done: newer foundation, seismic work and deck. This is your opportunity to make it your own. The kitchen opens to a new deck (2026), large enough for entertaining, plus you have your own private backyard just waiting for the gardener in you. Off-street parking and, for additional storage, there is a detached shed. The perfect neighborhood for those who want to be connected, with a 95 Walk Score® (Walker’s Paradise) and 97 Bike Score™ (Biker’s Paradise); everyday errands can easily be done without a car. Andronico’s is nearby for grocery shopping, along with the shops, cafés, and restaurants of the Gourmet Ghetto, while Downtown Berkeley and BART are just minutes away. Private, peaceful, walkable, and full of potential — a tucked-away North Berkeley home ready for its next chapter.
